Is Canderix a tool for mass applications?
No. Canderix sends nothing and does not fill in application portals. It automates the path to a good application: understand the role, pick backed-up content from your vault, typeset the bundle cleanly, review and correct it in the preview, prepare for the interview. Which roles you pick and what you send is your decision – one at a time, after your own review. Quality over quantity – in no time.
Canderix deliberately puts quality over volume: a few fitting, checked applications rather than many identical ones – and still fast: each application in minutes instead of hours.
Where is my personal data stored?
Your files and documents stay on your PC. For the writing, only the necessary text goes to our server, encrypted, and from there, pseudonymised, to an AI service provider; our server does not store it. Details are in the privacy policy.
How does the AI know what it is allowed to write about me?
The AI writes from your personal vault. Every statement is checked against your facts in several steps. What the check cannot back up is removed or clearly marked as a transferable skill. Still read the application before sending – you are the one who sends it.
Which languages are supported?
Canderix typesets documents in 26 languages, including German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Turkish, Russian and Greek. The language is detected from the posting. Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Hindi and a few other scripts are recognised, but the bundle is then written in English.
What does ATS-optimized mean?
Many companies filter applications automatically by keywords. The suite checks your documents for relevant terms from the job posting and for a clean, machine-readable structure. It shows you which terms from the posting are still missing.
Can I prepare several applications one after another?
Yes. You can add several roles you have picked, and Canderix prepares them one after another, each with its own bundle. Afterwards you go through each application individually, adjust what you do not like, and only send what is ready.
Why LaTeX instead of Word?
LaTeX is the standard tool for professional typesetting. Your documents get consistent typography, precise spacing, and crisp PDFs.
Is application training and interview preparation included?
Yes. Every application comes with a fit analysis: how well do you match the role, where are your strengths and weaknesses? On top of that you get typical interview questions, answer strategies, and concrete preparation tips for the interview.
What happens to my data?
Your files and documents stay on your PC: the vault and the finished PDFs. For the writing, only the necessary text is sent to our server, encrypted. The server keeps no plaintext passwords and no permanent copies of your documents.
When does public access start?
We are in the beta phase. Anyone who requests access will be admitted in order of registration.
What is a task and what does it cost?
A task is one step you trigger: generating an application, preparing an interview cheat sheet, running an analysis, or applying corrections. Without a package (Basic) it costs a 10-cent base fee plus 7 cents per AI call. A Premium package lowers both for life: Premium S by 10 %, Premium M by 20 %, Premium L by 30 %, Premium XL by 50 %. Your best purchased discount counts. Each package can be bought once per account; after that, you top up freely. On top of that come the actual costs of the model based on the amount of text. An application consists of several calls because CV, cover letter, and portfolio are produced and checked separately.
What happens if the connection drops during a generation?
A call that has reached the AI model is charged even if the connection drops afterwards. The cost arises on our side the moment the model works, so we cannot waive it. A single drop, for example from a Wi-Fi outage, has no further consequences. If drops accumulate on one account, a short pause applies first, then a 24 hour block, and a permanent block if it repeats. If this hits you unfairly, write to us and we will lift the block.
How do I top up credit and what happens when it runs out?
You buy credit in the app via PayPal. The amount is available immediately after approval. If the credit is no longer enough for a task, the server rejects it before any cost arises and the app points this out. Files already created are kept, nothing is lost.
Will Canderix guarantee me a job?
No, and nobody can seriously promise you that. The employer decides who gets hired. What Canderix does: you apply to more fitting roles – each with its own checked application – because writing no longer takes hours, your documents are tailored to each role instead of generic, and you walk into the interview prepared.
What do the designs cost?
Two designs are included. Every additional design is unlocked once for 20 ct from your balance and is yours to use without limit afterwards — for every application after that.
Why are several AI calls billed for one application?
An application is built in several steps: a draft from your vault facts, typesetting the documents, and checks of the statements against your facts. Fit analysis and the interview cheat sheet come on top if you use them. The task fee is charged once; every call costs the call fee plus model costs. How many calls it takes depends on the role, your vault and the check results. The checks are there on purpose: they look for statements without a source.
